 These are the best techniques I use to help me relieve stress and make me feel better……  • The first thing I always do is take a hot shower once I get home from a long day, the hot water slows down your body after a long day.  • another thing I do is use an app called headspace, it shows your techniques on how to breathe in and out.  • I also keep track of my emotions, in a journal  • I make a warm cup of tea  • then I usually love to listen to music, and I stay away from any social media . I usually like to draw .  • then after that I get some good sleep, preferably about eight hours. 

Relaxing Days …..

( this is the really cool photo I took at the park, the other day on my mindful walk.)   This week has been extremely stressful, I have school finals for 2 of my classes including this one and work has been super stressful. So instead of stressing myself out, I made a list this week of things that I am going to do throughout the week and I started off small so I didn’t overwork myself. And I put on there are some deadlines that I need to meet. This is one technique that I used because I struggle with overthinking a lot and I put too much on my plate, which causes my brain to get tired easily. I am very interested in watching mindful technique videos, and listening to different people and trying what they use. I actually saw this technique on someone’s video a couple of years ago and it does help me so much. I was successfully able to accomplished what I wanted to do. Introduction….

The purpose of my blogs is to relate to other people and show people that it’s okay that people struggle with everyday living. Nobody is perfect and we all struggle. Which is why I called my blogs “blog friends”. Most of my blogs are going to be about how I struggle with anxiety with school and work and home life and how I overcome it. Different techniques that help me everyday that might help others.  On that note let me tell you a little about my story. This is actually my last semester at Lackawanna, and this semester I decided to work full-time. The others semesters I was actually working part time at a retail store. Which after four years I had to leave. I was becoming super unhappy and there was different management controlling the store, which wasn’t the best thing . Everything became super stressful and I was just coming home super angry every night, which is unhealthy. At one point I was also working two jobs when I was a freshman in college.
